Community-driven impact in Newark, New Jersey.
Some of our outreach I usually don't film, but I was told it would be a good idea to start. This weekend during a brutal cold snap—12 degrees but felt like -20—we returned with action, donating over 50 hot meals of Jamaican jerk chicken, rice, and cabbage to the homeless at Newark Penn Station. I wasn't allowed to hand out the food inside (silly laws), but illegally parked so I could get close enough for some to come out, then bring some to their friends. We were also able to give back to a local small business, keeping support within the community. This isn't about content—it's about consistency. Turning awareness into action. Building the systems that don't just give hope but make hope permanent.
